Pamplona is Where it's At!!

Pamplona, Spain

  • Surrounded by a chain of mountains.

  • Mild, but wet climate.

  • 1 hour away from France by car.

  • The average maximum temperature is 27.1 degrees C in August.

  • The average minimum temperature is 1.1 degrees C in January.

  • The currency is still Euros.

  • And the language is still Spanish, just like in Valencia.

  • Pamplona is also 7 hours ahead of Chicago.

Itinerary

  • You will arrive in Pamplona from Valencia at 2:05pm.

  • Just like the previous countries, you will be staying in Pamplona for three days and two nights.

  • And, it's still up to you about your transportation. I would still prefer to walk and take the occasional taxi or bus.

  • The hotel you are staying in is called the Husa Avenida, very prestige. The Husa is very modern with a traditional Spanish style. It is located right in the center of the city, so not much need for transportation.

  • This countries activities will mix your likings with the likings of Hemingway and I'm sure you'll love them. Here they are:
  1. For a big Hemingway adventure, you are going to go to the Running of the Bulls. It should be a good time, and you'll experience what Papa did himself. Just don't get killed.

  2. Next, this one's for you, you are going to go golfing at the Ulzama Golf Course. You'll have fun.

  3. Finally, You are going to visit the cathedral located to the north of the Plaza of Castillo.

  • So, there are your top three activities that you must do while you are in Pamplona.

  • Be sure to get them done by 10:55am on the third day because that's when your next flight leaves Pamplona to head to your next destination.

Cost of Pamplona, Spain

  • Your hotel cost: $104.27 per night for two nights.

  • Then, you have just the 79 Euros for your activities, only from the golfing, which is about $27.

  • The flight to your next destination will cost you $2,325...oh yeah.

So, the approximate cost of this trip is about $2,560.54 plus the cost of your personal items and transportation if any.
