Itinerary

• After you leave Chicago, you have about a three and a half hour lay-over in Rome, Italy, then arrive in Valencia, Spain at 1:25pm.


• Now, since you're there without me, it's up to you to decide how you get around Valencia. You're going to be downtown pretty much the whole time, so, you could just walk around everywhere.


• Again, you will be here for three days and two nights.


• The hotel you will be staying at is called the Room Mate Marina. It is a modern hotel located next to the Port of Valencia and 4km from the city's center.


• The following are the three activities that will be most influential to you:

1. First and most importantly, you are going to go to a bull fight...the cause of Hemingway's hype while he was in Valencia. This one is of course a must.


2. Also, I want you to visit the beaches. There are two good beaches, the Playa de Pinedo and the Playa de El Saler. Go to one or both for some true Hemingway relaxation.


3. The third activity you are going to do is go to the beautiful Jardines de Real. See if you can appreciate beauty as the great Papa Hemingway did.

• Again, be sure to do more than these activities to enjoy the Valenican experience.
• You get to wake up early on the third day, get an activity in and get to the airport to be ready to leave at 9:05am.

Cost of Valencia, Spain

The cost of your trip will include the following:
